I have the third chapter written, but it's waiting to be beta'd. It's just taking my beta forever (which is ultimately out of her control), so I missed my deadline on Thursday. If she's not online by tomorrow, I'm going to try to edit it on my own.

Actually, I'm highly debating finding another beta, only because my wonderful sister is pretty busy with her own works. *shrugs* I don't know...

But, I totally started a new story. I don't know...it kind of popped into my head, and wouldn't leave me alone. It's about a girl, who is "stalked" by a guy in a famous band online, because he finds her on his band's blog. I had that idea the other day, and my characters are coming along nicely, so I'm pretty proud of myself. =)

I think I'm going to work on LAYLOM now, actually, since I have my iPod going. =)

<3
~Me

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://lifeandtimesofateenwriter.blogspot.com/2009/01/deadline-whoops.html' title='Deadline? Three years of writing in first person is driving me nuts, because random first person POV just pops into the story. For one of my fanfics, Wonderful Journey, I'd update every Thursday. I did that for about a year and a half, before I took a break, and then finished it. So, at 1am, I dug it up, and starting working on a scene. It's coming out, which is a good thing.

I also started a (sigh) new story. It's basically about me with how I was a few years ago, mixed in with my social situation how it is now.

...Wow, that sounded like I'm a freaking hermit. I'm really not. Hahaha.

Anywho, I like how it's going, and it's very easy to write this character, because I've lived it...kind of.

I'm starting to work on Playlists for my stories to put on my computer, and the iPod. I work a lot better when I've got music, and right now, I'm just listening to one song on repeat. That's okay, though, because it relates to my characters.

But, I need to go research England a bit. I don't recommend it.

Anywho, it's only limited to two stories, which is okay. Well, it's actually five stories, but I'm only really kind of counting the four as one. But, it's still technically five, but oh well.

Casual Chaos is going good. I finished Opening weekend, and Mel's first day of school. Fourth weekend is also completed. I've got a couple of more weekends to go, and a couple more days of school.

Then, what I've named, "The Girls Who Kick Butt" series. I haven't done any work on the original stories themselves, but I'm working on the very last chapters of each of them, right before they all become one. I know exactly how I'm going to write the last book...well, the collaboration of the other three books. Every chapter is going to be a different person's POV...or I may just write it in third person. Third person seems to be the smartest way to do it. I may write three other books at the end of the fourth book, only because Fallen Goddess and The Tattoo book have certain things that happen that will require a follow-up. Not that I'm complaining, because they're awesome characters. I just know that it's going to be an insane amount of work.

*sigh*

I need a brownie. I'm thinking about digging up a trilogy I'd started. It had started off as three separate series, that I kind of decided that I wanted to but together in a "girls who kick butt" type of series.

It was going to be three different books, of three different girls. Then, they were all going to smack together into one for a final book. I really want to work on them again, because as much as I love Casual Chaos, I need characters that can kick some serious ass. I love Mel to death, but she's almost exactly like me. I need a different perspective.

I've started up Phone Tag again, but even that isn't what I needed. Cat's pretty headstrong herself, but it doesn't have the fighting, and the evil creatures and stuff like that. That's what I'm craving to write. I'm going to dig out some of the notebooks, reread them, and start to fix them. I know two out of the three are in binders, which was a bad idea from the start, so I'm going to start over in a notebook.

But, as for now, I need a bit of sleep. =)

~Me

Hola!

Hi!

So, I've started a new blog. Big surprise there.

The reason behind the madness? I'm about ready to freak the hell out.

Why, you may ask? Because I honestly don' t know what to do with my writing anymore.

The reason that this started, was doing NaNoWriMo. National Novel Writing Month. I failed horribly, only able to get halfway through. Part of this was because I was in a show, and the last part was, well, my computer crashed the last day. Yes, I still have the story, but I can't get to it to work on it.
Because NaNo is over, I can get back to my regularly scheduled writing. Yes, I'm going to finish my NaNo piece, because a lot of people want to read it. I just need to take a break, so I can get my head together. I need to read through it, and fix the mistakes I made because I was in such a rush to write it. It still needs some fixing up and organizing, but that'll come in time. If I can get it done soon, I'll be happy. I just have to catch up with school work first.

Which reminds me. I have a project on Indonesia to do. Oh joy.

<3
~Me
